Shonkalay is more than a word. It's soon to be a book.
Thirty-One Years of Shonkalay is at the beta-read stage
What is it like to teach in an urban school surrounded my wealthy suburbs and Amish farms?

Thirty-one years of Shonkalay is about the struggle to become authentic and stay true to ideals in an organization that rewarded conformity. It follows the challenges of teaching science in Lancaster, PA and shows why it helped to have three masters degrees.
